This course is designed to provide a working knowledge of evidence, evidentiary practices, and case laws that deal with the admission of evidence. Topics include the origin, development, and constitutional basis of evidence. The course also covers constitutional and procedural considerations affecting arrest and search and seizure, kinds of degrees of evidence, the rules that govern admissibility, judicial decisions interpreting individual rights, and case studies.
