Offers study and practice with the structures and vocabulary essential to understanding, reading, writing, and verbally communicating Italian. Practices and builds upon Elementary Italian I with Italian as the primary language of instruction. Provides opportunities to explore the cultural aspects (heritage, civilization, customs, values, and related issues) of the Italian-speaking world, as well as aspects of the regional geography, history, art, and unique subcultures.
