This course will cover techniques of handling juvenile offenders and victims, prevention and suppression of delinquency, diagnosis and referral, and organization of community resources. Students will learn juvenile law and juvenile court procedures, theories that explain delinquent behavior current research prevention of juvenile crime, and historical and comparative perspectives.
