Prerequisites: Successful completion of EMLS B71 or equivalent with a grade of C or better or placement using the current college process. Recommended for international and multilingual students who need to improve reading comprehension and build vocabulary in English. Emphasis is on identifying main ideas, summarizing, making inferences, and developing vocabulary, using more complex academic reading selections than in EMS B71. Note: Not open to students who have successfully completed ENSL B51 or ACDV B61 or ACDV B62.
