An introduction to the formation and development through time of the solid Earth, atmosphere, and biosphere. This course covers past movements and locations of the continents and interpretation of past environments as recorded in rock and fossil records, including the dinosaurs. Students requiring laboratory experience should enroll in GEOL B11L concurrently with GEOL B11. Field trips may be required. C-ID: Geology (C-ID: GEOL 110)
