This course will provide practical experience in the use of computer applications commonly used in health information management and healthcare. This includes basic computer and communication technologies and concepts, systems development and analysis, reports and queries of information, data storage, reliability, and retrieval, databases, workflow mapping, master patient indexes, and electronic health records.
