AWS: Networking Course is the second course of Exam Prep: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate Specialization. This course assists learners with the knowledge of Amazon VPC and its components. The course focuses on the subnet and CIDR configurations and security concepts using Gateways. Learners will also be able to configure and connect multiple VPCs using VPC peering. By the end of this course, you will be able to: - Understand the components of Amazon VPC. - Evaluate Subnet Sizing, Non-default Subnet Sizing, and CIDR blocks. - Create VPCs using Gateways, VPC Peering and Bastion Hosts. This is an intermediate course, intended for learners performing an administrator role in AWS. To succeed in this course, you should have at least 1 year of basic knowledge of CIDR blocks and subnets and hands-on experience with the VPC components in AWS. This course is basically divided into two modules and each module is further segmented by Lessons and Video Lectures. This course facilitates learners with approximately 3:00-3:30 Hours of Video lectures that provide both Theory and Hands-On knowledge. Also, Graded and Ungraded Quizzes are provided with every module in order to test the ability of learners.

  • Basic features of Amazon VPC
    • Welcome to Week 1 of the AWS: Networking Course. This week, we’ll learn basic networking by exploring Amazon VPC components. By the end of the week, we should have a good understanding of how to configure basic VPC infrastructure.
  • Advanced features of Amazon VPC
    • Welcome to Week 2 of the AWS: Networking Course. This week, we’ll learn networking connectivity by exploring Internet Gateway and NAT Gateway. We will also explore a few advanced features such as VPC flow logs, VPC peering, and Bastion Hosts. By the end of the week, we should have a good understanding of how to configure advanced VPC architecture and apply monitoring using VPC flow logs.
