AWS Jam Journey: Networking

About

AWS Jam is a gamified experiential learning platform that helps you develop your AWS cloud skills through simulated real-world cases. During this Jam Journey, you are going to challenge your AWS Networking skills by solving various scenarios created by AWS experts. The course is available for a three-month period to give you time to complete all the challenges at your own pace and schedule.

Intended Audience

This Jam Journey is intended for anyone interested in building their AWS Networking skills through real-world challenges. 

 

Learning Objectives

In this Jam Journey, you will learn to:

• Configure a new routing algorithm for the Target Group
• Migrate from Amazon VPC peering to a AWS Transit Gateway based peering architecture
• Configure Amazon VPC Traffic Mirroring
• Perform packer inspection of network traffic between two Amazon EC2 instances in a Amazon VPC
• Configure Amazon Linux 2 to work with multicast
• Configure Amazon VPC Enhanced Routing
• Trace the traffic flow in an AWS Network
• Modify Amazon VPC Route Tables to enable North-South communication and inspection

 

Challenge Information

We recommend that attendees of this Jam Journey have basic knowledge of common data center architectures and components, plus experience using the AWS administrative console.
