This has been a terrific introduction to 3D printing. I knew some of the applications, such as home and building construction and aerospace applications but the course opened my eyes to so many more applications.
I am an author of books that expose teens and young adults to the nature of work in the future, and I am eager to share both online learning as well the ideas of 3D printing.
The next course in the series is a few days away, and I'll be there.

This course really opened my eyes widely and taught me a lot about 3D printing.
I've completed this course and and immediately bought a 3D printer to dig in this 3D revolution. I really like the way Aric taught us about 3D Printing Revolution.
Thank you very much Aric, Coursera, University of Illinois. -
I took this course to find out more about 3D printing of which I new just that you can make 3D objects from your virtual designs. This was a real eye opener and taster into the potential of this new technology. A sound intro into an exciting and limitless industry!

Este curso é o primeiro módulo de uma especialização em impressão 3D.
Ótima introdução, poderia ser até um pouco menos superficial, mas entendo que ele tem que ser fácil pois seus alunos não são necessariamente engenheiros. -
This is a great course and is the first one in the 3D printing specialization. It has a very good organization of things and starts off on a simple note.
Overall all,great experience.!!! -

Undoubtedly, this is a great course to get your feet wet in 3D printing and get started. It gives an overall view of the 3D printing Ecosystem.
-
This is a great intro course to 3D printing. Even if you're already somewhat familiar with the 3D printing process, the class introduces you to many 3D printing applications you may not have heard of. And if you're completely new to the topic, it covers the basics.
I am very glad I took this course. I feel like I am much more prepared to start a 3D printing business because I learned about the vast number of resources available to help throughout the process. -
The content of this course is very comprehensive. I really like the interviews with industrial leaders and academicians because they had deepened my understanding of the ecosystem of 3D printing. However, I feel that the course structure is too packed to be completed in two weeks. Maybe we can extend the duration of the course to four weeks, so that the workload of the course can be more distributed.

I wanted to sign up for the course. I decided against it because there was no information provided about the cost of the course. When I tried to sign up, I was immediately asked for my contact information. It was an extreme turn-off for me as I expect to receive full disclosure of the cost before entering my email address or other information.

Great content and brief projects. Nice interaction with people around the world. Based on this course, purchased the rest of the specialization. Quizzes could be stronger but they are a minor element.
-
I knew little about 3d printing before taking this course, now I have opened my mind to the infinite possibilities of this technology that is only in its childhood, thanks to all the team.
