A Seat at the Table Isn't the Solution for Gender Equity

This course aims to challenge the notion of success being defined as "a seat at the table" for women and girls, proposing the idea of building a better table instead. The learning outcomes include understanding the importance of creating a more inclusive society where girls are encouraged and empowered to achieve greatness. The course teaches four ways to achieve this goal. The teaching method involves a 20-minute TED Talk delivered by Lilly Singh, combining humor and insight to trace her career journey and share her perspectives on gender equity. The intended audience for this course is individuals interested in gender equality, societal inclusivity, and empowering girls and women to reach their full potential.
