The Open edX community is heading to Lisbon, Portugal 19 – 22 May 2020 for its annual Open edX Conference. This year’s theme “Shaping the Future of Education Together” encourages developers, instructional designers, university administrators, and professors to think and rethink concepts of education and work to meet tomorrow’s challenges.

The conference consists of three parts. The first day is covered by long-form tutorials and workshops. Followed by two main conference days that go in-depth and the summit for developers and instructional designers planned on the fourth and last day.

The call for papers is out, inviting session proposals for the following areas until 19 February:

1. Pedagogy and Instructional Design
2. Platform and Product
3. Integrations and Extensions
4. Devops and Operations.
