The 2021 Online Educa Berlin (OEB) will take place from Dec 1 – 3, 2021 in Berlin. The 27th edition of the global, cross-sector conference, and exhibition on technology supported learning and training could be the first on-site gathering of the international learning technology community since many conferences went virtuel due to the global pandemic. 

This year’s event is all about Learning Resilience with sub-themes addressing opportunities and challenges  that are changing the world of learning in all industries, i.e. school, higher education, workplace, and policy making. The deadline for the Call for Proposals is May 3, 2021. You can submit your idea for a proposal here. Many formats are accepted: Pre-conference workshop, interactive session, individual presentation, panel session, discovery demo, boardroom dialogue.

Among the confirmed Keynote Speakers is Rose Luckin, Professor of Learner Centred Design at UCL Knowledge Lab & Director of EDUCATE Ventures Research. João Santos, the senior expert in the Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs, and Inclusion at the European Commission in Brussels is announced to highlight the impact of VET and the EU Commission’s vision for Centres of Vocational Excellence. Also, Class Central’s Founder and CEO Dhawal Shah will contribute to the conference. His keynote address will focus on trends and developments in the MOOC landscape.

OEB’s international participants come from the entire learning ecosystem: from the education sector, workplace learning & development, governmental organisations, and EdTech solution providers.
