On May 14th,   Georgia Institute of Technology, Udacity and AT&T announced that they have teamed up to offer the first accredited Online Master of Science in Computer Science (OMS CS) that students can earn exclusively through the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) delivery format and for a fraction of the cost of traditional, on-campus programs. Yesterday (July 8th, 2013) they announced more details including a list of courses.

Timetable

Summer & Fall 2013: Production of initial OMS CS courses (listing below) and infrastructure development
January 2014: Launch of pilot cohort
Spring/Summer 2014: Begin accepting open applications
Fall 2014: Matriculation of first “open” OMS CS cohort
