50+ Free Online Courses and Conferences about Coronavirus

To deliver reliable and scientific information, researchers from universities and healthcare organizations are providing the latest free MOOCs about COVID-19.

Over 90% of the world’s student population has been affected by COVID-19 quarantines or social distancing policies. This pandemic is not the only recent important outbreak. “The impact of epidemic diseases on society has shaped powerful social evolution no less than wars, revolutions and economic crises”, Yale Professor Frank M. Snowden said in his YouTube course Epidemics in Western Society Since 1600.

Education ministries, schools, universities and companies, are quickly providing online resources for learners.

Universities have started offering online courses about COVID-19 as well as organizing webinars and fully-fledged virtual conferences.

We have collected 50+ courses from institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, Johns Hopkins, and the World Health Organization (WHO). All are free to enroll and some even provide free certificates.

We have also built a list of resources to help you understand and/or keep up with the pandemic.

Are these courses with certificate totally free of cost ? Or once you finish the course to get the certificate you need to pay some amount . Please clarify ?

  In the list, there’s a column called “certificate” and there it says whether it’s free or how much it costs

  “CS472 Data science and AI for COVID-19” from Stanford University;
  “COVID-19: Pandemics, Modelling, and Policy” from The Open University.
