Limitation on Enrollment: Proof of a negative TB test within past 12 months and legal fingerprint clearance through the Chaffey College Human Resources Department are required for fieldwork placement. Prerequisite: CDE-2. Corequisite: ED-10W. Placement Level: Eligibility for ENGL-1A as determined by the Chaffey College placement process. Course explores concepts and issues related to teaching diverse learners in today's schools, Kindergarten through grade twelve (K-12). Topics include teaching as a profession, historical and philosophical foundations of the United States education system, contemporary educational issues, and California's standards for both student curriculum and teacher performance.
