Although I love going to art museums and galleries, this was my first formal course on art history and it was wonderful! The focus on the social context in which the artists created was very helpful in broadening my appreciation and understanding of art. The featured artists and artworks were excellent. Professor Parme Giuntini is an outstanding teacher.
