These online recordings will provide pediatricians and family physicians with up-to-date clinical information on a wide range of clinical issues encountered in daily pediatric practice. In this session, Dr. Joyce Javier discusses the impact of colonialism and racism on Filipino health and mental health disparities, protective and risk factors for suicidal behavior among Filipino youth and ways pediatricians can address mental health among Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) youth and families.
